Focus Service: Sheffield Church had its first church service in May 2001. Our church is designed around the needs of people with learning disabilities and comprehension difficulties. We are an official, formally constituted church. We operate an active church membership and have regular church members meetings where all members get the opportunity to vote on matters of the church and help decide the direction and ministry of the church. We have people with learning disabilities on our leadership team and trustee board.

The church is a Christian inter-denominational partnership between the registered charity Compassionate Response and a local church Meadowhead Christian Fellowship. We also have some new denominational friends joining with us soon and supporting us in our ministry at St. Paul’s (Church of England) Church and Centre.
